Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Effective November 1, 2026. This policy is for residents of Washington, Nevada, Connecticut and other places with consumer health data laws, and applies to everyone.

Categories of consumer health data

The app processes, on your device only: migraine attacks and symptoms, medicines you log and whether they helped, daily check-ins, factors you choose, period days, sleep read from Apple Health, and air-pressure summaries for your approximate area.

Why it is processed

Only to provide the features you use: your diary, history, pattern counts, notifications you turn on, and reports you choose to make.

Sources

You (what you log or say), Apple Health (sleep, if you connect it), and weather data for your rounded location.

Collection and sharing

We do not collect your consumer health data onto our servers, and we do not share or sell it to anyone. Data leaves your phone only when you choose to share a report or backup file yourself. The only things sent off the device are a rounded location (to fetch weather, with no identifier) and purchase status (to Apple and RevenueCat, with no health data).

Your rights

You can see, export, and delete all of your data in the app (More › Your data), and withdraw consent at any time by turning off a feature or deleting your data. Email support@migrainesignal.app with any request; we respond within 45 days. If we deny a request you may appeal by replying to our answer, and if the appeal is denied you can contact your state Attorney General.
